It's Australian Open time which means late late nights watching the matches. I am currently watching Cilic v's Murray. Close game, although I think that Murray will come out on top in the end.
It was sad to watch Raffa withdraw from his game due to his knees.

Ironing is boring
I REALLY do not like ironing at all. HATE it. I leave it to pile up until DH is needing clothes for work ;) I had two full baskets to do - one of normal clothes and one full of new school uniforms which also needed name labels ironed on as well. I like name labels - unlike size labels which fade and you can't tell whose shirt it is anymore. So I had a bit of entertainment among the mundane ;) Except I melted the facing in one of the school hats :(. Meh. Crunchy bits.

Planning the trip to Uluru
Dh has long service due to him in May so we have decided to do a road trip to Uluru. I am very excited. We have the camper atlas out and have started the initial planning. The biggest issue so far is to go north to drop our dogs at mum's or have them transported up. Cost versus time. Ah well early days yet ;)
Bye bye Steel City Scraps :(
Rachel is closing up her stores at Scrappity Doo Dah and Inspirsation Lane for a hiatus from designing. That is really sad, BUT the up side is she is having a huge sale "Build Your Own Bag"!!!

Freaky weather.
We have the most bizarrest weather over the last few days. Saturday we were sweltering with high humidity and had a couple of brief thunderstorms that did nothing much to reduce either humidity or temperature. Sunday was hot without the humidity and gusty windy. Today was just down right cold with an overnight temp of 10degC and a max of 19degC. Even the local alpine regions had a dusting of snow!! What the? In January? In Australia? As I said, freaky weather!!!

Going mobile!!!
How excitement?! As Effy used to say!! I've loaded up a free app on my itouch ipod so I can blog quick little bits of info when I want too. Well, within a wireless network anyways.
Typing is a bit tedious - you can't really touch type on this LOL!!!
Woot!! Woot!!
Stay tuned for a rather cool daily download that's coming up at DSDI - I'll be posting a sneaky peaky tomorrow ;) It's a collab by two designers - but I am not going to tell you until tomorrow!!!

Project 365 Templates
Have you noticed how many Project 365 templates that are around out there in digi-scrap land? What I really like about them is that you can also use them for multi photo pages or one single blocked photo.
Check these out by Steel City Scraps:

I've used two of these really cool templates in the pages below:

The kit used is also by Steel City Scraps called Comfy Jamies which is in the Chickadee January Grab Bag at Scrappity Doo Dah. Check it out below!

Spice it up for Jan '10 @ DSDI
Ready to be challenged?

OMGosh is it really NEW YEARS already? Well it is here in Australia - anyways ... I'm getting it up ready to go - AND I managed to get a page up in the gallery too - I am really going to try and be on top of my game this year - yeah right LOL!!:lol:
I though that we would focus on attachments this month as our element challenge. How do you stick items down? Tape? Staple? Messy glue? Stitches? I would like to see you use a few different attachments in your page this month.
I went a bit overboard - I used staples, stitches, twine, even a safety pin ;) I tried the messy glue too, but it just wasn't a good look for this page here for a messy glue example.)
Here's my page:

Remember to[link us up to your LO here so we can LYSL and award you your points (15 for the challenge and 10 bonus for using at least 90% DSDI product)!
I can't wait to see what you all come up with!
