Here is a page I created using this cute cute kit. We had the nugest rainbow the other morning and it looked like it started in our street and finished in the the one below us :) At one stage it was even a double. You can just see the double rainbow in the photo.

This kit was inspired by the song "The Lusty Month of May" in the movie, "Camelot." The song speaks of the May as a "freeing time of year" and that is exactly how I feel in May! Some of you might know that I harbour a crush on the fictional character Alice Cullen, from the Twilight novels/movies. I tried to emulate but sadly failed *sniff, I did get the glittery skin thing happening with some sparkly body dust and I whitened my face with a mix of really pale foundation and talcum powder. Oh and of course there was no way I could tame my wild hair either.

I was a fun night though!!!

April Showers release and a QP :)

Long long time between posts - life has gotten in the way and I am not a great blogger at the best - oh well :)

Anyhoo the buzz is Little Red Scraps from DSDI has been busy with Madame Wing from the Digichick and come up with a super collab called April Showers. Cute and pastel without being sickly sweet.

REALLY?

No, I just had a play with the DSDI April Colour challenge. The pallet was awesome - kinda beachy and earthy at the same time. I was insoired by my recent camping and 4WDing trip to Stockton Beach.

This is the colour pallet


I took loads of photos and was able to blend some of them into papers and do sone extractions as well.

The kids had fun playing with that float I can tell you!

New blog design almost finished :)

I have been totally inspired by a new kit by Little Red Scraps that I just had to use!!! It is called Love You Forever and you can get it from Digi Scraps Drive-In. There is also matching card stock, which I also used in my backround and in the blog banner. You can click on either image to go to Jane's store :)

Happy Birthday Jaime - Its A Blog Train Surprise Party

The gorgeous awesome Jaime from DSDI is having a birthday :) We're celebrating with a surprise blog train party. We got sneaky and discovered that Jaime's favourite colour is red, and she loves shabby kits, so a bunch of designers work on a red shabby kit, and then the CT worked on some quick pages and brag book pages.

Tennis

It's Australian Open time which means late late nights watching the matches. I am currently watching Cilic v's Murray. Close game, although I think that Murray will come out on top in the end.

It was sad to watch Raffa withdraw from his game due to his knees.
